3rd Consortium meeting in Ghent, Belgium

One year into the CARBON4MINERALS project, partners gathered in Ghent, Belgium on the 18 - 19 of January for a two-day meeting hosted by Arcelor Mittal, one of the project's partners. The meeting not only marked an important milestone but also allowed partners to discuss progress, share insights, and strengthen collaborations.

The day started with the partners catching up after the New Year break, and the project coordinator Liesbeth Horckmans, welcomed all attendees by presenting an overview and status of the project. As the day unfolded, partners took the stage to present updates on their tasks and details of their work. The partners engaged in discussions, sharing expertise and strategies to achieve the project's goals.

The dedication of each partner was evident throughout the day, showcasing the collective commitment to advancing the project. After a day of discussions, the partners regrouped in the city centre of Ghent for a dinner which provided a setting for partners to enjoy the atmosphere of the historic city.

On the second day, the meeting started with a presentation led by FENIX TNT, focusing on Communication, Dissemination, Exploitation, and Co-learning. Partners were brought up to speed on project progress, delving into strategies to improve communication and dissemination. Following this presentation, the coordinator, took the stage to outline future steps and the Executive Committee engaged in discussions regarding project reporting actions and plans. Post-lunch, the day concluded with an insightful tour of the Arcelor Mittal site. Thank you goes out to Arcelor Mittal for hosting our meeting, and to all partners for their work.
