Introducing Carbon4Minerals consortium member - Etex Services.

Founded in Belgium over 100 years ago, Etex Services provides building materials and solutions worldwide with headquarters based in Brussels, Belgium. Etex focuses on lightweight complete construction methods for interiors and exteriors.

The building materials that are produced include fibre cement, plasterboard, fire protection materials, insulation, and offsite modular building systems. Etex Services NV is the innovation and technology center for R&D for fibre cement and is based in Kapelle-op-den-Bos, Belgium.  

In Carbon4Minerals, Etex Services NV will assess the valorization potential of cementitious materials from secondary resources that are developed in the Carbon4Minerals project for their use in the production of fibre cement. The cementitious materials are carbonation clinker and CO2-activated supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs).

Etex Services NV will also supply fiber cement waste to produce SCMs in/for the project.
