Our partners from VITO participated in the CO2-based Fuels and Chemicals Conference 2024, presenting the potential of solid adsorption technology as efficient carbon capture and linking to downstream CO2 utilisation through mineral carbonation by the introduction of the Carbon4Minerals project.  

The CO2-based Fuels and Chemicals Conference is one of internationally established and has developed into a unique meeting and networking place for the entire Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) and Power-to-X industry and its customers.

With over 230 attendees from 27 countries, the conference delved into diverse topics such as innovation, strategy & policy in CCU, carbon capture technologies, green hydrogen production, Power-to-X for fuels (transportation and aviation), CO2-based chemicals, materials and polymers, mineralisation and advanced technologies, research for CCU, and artificial photosynthesis.
