5th Consortium meeting in Lanklaar, Belgium
January 2025
The Carbon4Minerals project took another significant step forward during its 5th Consortium Meeting, held on January 22-23, 2025, in Lanklaar, Belgium. Hosted by our esteemed partner Vandersanden, the event provided a dynamic platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and strategic planning, driving progress toward the project’s goals.
The meeting began with a warm welcome and an introduction from the Vandersanden, setting the stage for a productive and engaging day. The first session featured a workshop on Data Management, an essential aspect of the project’s ongoing success. This interactive session highlighted best practices for managing and sharing project data effectively, ensuring alignment across all partners.
Following the workshop, each partner presented updates on their tasks, showcasing the remarkable progress made over the past months. These presentations followed discussions, allowing attendees to exchange insights and refine strategies. In the afternoon, participants had the unique opportunity to visit Vandersanden’s production site Pirrouet®, showcasing the production process behind CO2-negative facing bricks. The day concluded with a delightful dinner at the Terhills restaurant, where partners continued to connect in an inspiring atmosphere.
